Why Move Strong Mind Is for Parents

“Coaching with Jen has changed my life. Working to understand my needs, wants and motives, allows me to become a more authentic, joyful person. As a mom, it allows me to be a present, balanced individual while modeling the healthy and functional life behaviors I want my kids to have. “

Parents don’t put themselves first. Period.

It’s a basic fact of parenting that begins when you are suddenly thrust into the role of being 100% responsible for the welfare and well-being of another individual.

No matter the child’s age, there is an adjustment phase to becoming a parent and we take a back seat to our children while we figure out what’s going on and how to do our version of this “parenting thing”.

Let me be clear from the start. I am not a parenting coach. I am a performance coach for parents.

The one thing all parents want most is for their kids to be happy, safe, healthy and taken care of.

The one thing all parents habitually deny is their want to be happy, safe, healthy and taken care of.

Taking a back seat to your kids’ needs and wants becomes a habit that you find hard to let go and when you try, an abundance of guilt, doubt, worry and resistance comes up.

When you live by modeling your true potential, you are being the best parent you can be.
